Our Volunteers

I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks. -William Shakespeare

Ask us what we want to do here at Gamers For Humanity, and we'll happily tell you all about our plans and hopes. But ask us about how we are going to do what we want to do, and we'll tell you all about our volunteers. We'll talk for hours about our people if you let us. We only make the plans; they make the difference.

Our volunteers come from all age groups, all kinds of professions, and include gamers and potential gamers (no one is a 'non-gamer', after all). We ask only that they have a desire to help, and that they don't mind having fun while they do it. We believe that everyone has the ability to help in some way--you don't need to bring any experience with you, but we promise you'll bring experiences away with you. That's all the salary we can offer, but we think it's worth it.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do. -Edward Everett Hale

If you are willing to give your time and effort to help other people, we will be glad to have you join us. Some of our volunteer opportunities involve travel, some can be accomplished in your home town. If you think you might be able to help, we agree, and we'll do our best to find something you can do to help us. We have game drives, work days, and even a trip to New Orleans. You just have to make the decision to let us know. Welcome to Gamers For Humanity.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. -Dr. Seuss
