Are you the best board gamer around? Settlers of Catan? Carcassonne? What's your game? You can only be King of the Board if you're good enough at all of them.
Format: Each round consists of randomly selected tables of four players, playing one of the games from the tournament list. Which game? The players help decide that. The game is played, and finishing places are determined. Next round, new tables, new players, new game.
Scoring: Each player will receive points each round based on their finish. In the end, the player with the most points is crowned King Of The Board! (If scores are close enough, a playoff among the top 4 players may be involved.)
Games: Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Dominion, Citadels, Ticket To Ride, Stone Age, Power Grid, and more (complete list will be posted prior to the tournament).
Cost: Registration is only $10 per player.
Prizes: Winner receives prizes from Critical Hit, Papa John's, Gamers for Humanity, and more. Door prizes will also be given out throughout the tournament. Current prize list includes a Critical Hit gift certificate, free 4-day passes to the Gen Con Game Convention (a $78 value each!), Papa John's gift certificates, and more to come...
