We have been fortunate enough to receive support from a number of companies and organizations already, and the list is still growing.

The George Fern Company is one of the leading national service contractors, serving more than 750 expos and conventions--including Gen Con--and hundreds of other events nationwide (and up with our friends in Canada). They provide a full range of services for exposition and convention organizers and exhibitors, and corporate events and shows. They've been in business for the better part of 100 years...they know what they are doing. And they have been very generous with us, to boot.

We have received tremendous support from Gen Con LLC, the great people and company that put on Gen Con, the world's biggest and best gaming convention.
In fact, Gamers For Humanity is mostly comprised of Gen Con attendees at the moment, and has grown from the fellowship of the gamers there.

Come talk to us on the Gen Con Community Forums. Good people, good times.
If you are heading to New Orleans, one of the best meals you can find is at Brigtsen's Restaurant. Frank and Marna Brigtsen are wonderful people, and the food is second-to-none. It's a nice trolley car ride away from the Quarter and the Garden District, but it's worth the ride.

We are also looking forward to working with Habitat For Humanity for our second project in Indianapolis, IN, in August. Not only do they work tirelessly to put people into homes of their own, they do it with dignity and respect for those people.

Head east from Iowa, almost directly across, and you'll reach Indiana. Circle around Indiana and you'll probably find yourself in Indianapolis after a while. If you do, look up the Indy Mavens, a group of friendly folks and gamers who would love to introduce you to their fine city. Have a beer at the Ram, play some games, and you'll have no problem enjoying your time there.

Name Tag, Inc is a one-stop shop for everything you would need for a convention, or to promote your organization at a convention. Badges, badge holders, badge ribbons, name tags, name plates, can coolers, lanyards, keychains, arm bands, photo IDs...you get the picture. They've got it all. And they were readily willing to help support us with badge ribbons for our Game Drive, for which we're very grateful. I know a lot of you reading this are exhibitors yourself--I'd recommend checking them out. Great prices, and good people.

The wonderful people at Offworld Designs have agreed to print t-shirts for our members at a reduced cost, and have also offered to drop-ship t-shirts to anyone else who wants to help support us and get a cool shirt in return. We'll be posting more information about the t-shirts--their design and how to get one--in the near future. Until then, Offworld has all sorts of other great shirts to choose from.

We loved working with The Phoenix of New Orleans for our first project. They are working hard to put New Orleans residents back into their homes after the flooding of two years ago, and we're proud to be a part of that effort.

A bit farther north of New Orleans is Iowa. If you find yourself in a little place called Coralville (or nearby in Iowa City), and you like coffee, your destination of choice should be Terrapin Coffee. Robert and David will whip you up any drink you ask for, cold or hot, and you'll find yourself in more of a laid back neighborhood bar than a 'coffee house'. Ask for the 'Che Guevarra' if you need an extra pick-me-up.
